Public meeting for Plan H to be held Sept. 2 in Old Monroe

A CAP-H (Citizens Against Plan H) newsletter released to citizens and media
outlets gave an update on the status of Plan H.
At the federal level, there is no push for approval/implementation/funding
of Plan H by the Corp of Engineers, legislators or other congressional
groups.  At the local level, UMIMRA (Upper Mississippi, Illinois and
Missouri River Association) continues to work for approval from Illinois,
Iowa and Missouri Legislature and Governors for a resolution calling for
U.S. Congress to approve, implement and fund Plan H.
UMIMRA is gathering signatures, lobbying legislators, working against CAP-H
and generally trying to move Plan...
